Ragnarok X : Hyper Return complete this month event with long-awaited Christmas event. This event last for 15 days, while we still have One-Punch Man collab running, to keep us company while enjoying the christmas holiday.
Starting off on 20th December and ends on 3rd January, this special events bring back the Christmas special map “Lutie” and the “Toy Factory” map. On this special map, adventurers will doint various quests, with chances to get excluside rewards such as mounts, Christmas-themed house furniture, Event-Limited Gold card, and the “Baby Garm” pet.
In this guide, you will find important things that you need to know about the current Ragnarok X : Hyper Return Holy Night Christmas event. From learning the basic into mastering the event tactic, this guide will provide you details to help you enjoy this holiday once-in-a-year event.

Event 1: Winter Sign-In (Daily Sign-in Rewards)
The first Holy Night Christmas event will be the Winter Sign-In. Not much to say, you only need to go to the Lutie map, talk to the santa and claim your Winter Sign-In reward. The reward are essential item to participating on another event listed below. From the taming item for “Baby Garm” pet, to the main exchange material item. Also you will get 
Sweet Winter Dream Box with a chance to get Event-Limited Gold Card everyday.
Every day that you visit Santa, you will be greeted with a set of rewards. These include:

Just by logging in daily for 15 day, you will get in total 45x Holly Leaves, 15x Sweet Winter Dream Boxes, and 30x Crystal Candy Balls. Just like the santa do, giving free present for good child on the Christmas Day.
One thing that should be mentioned is the Crystal Candy Balls. The item to catch the legendary “Baby Garm” pet, considering how limited this pet is, you want to at least get A Quality from this event, or maybe if you lucky enough, you can even get the S Quality! The pet itself still have no information about when it will get his evolve form. But let’s just prepare it from now because who knows, maybe on the next christmas next year you can evolve the “Baby Garm” into fully adult “Garm“.
Event 2: Game Invasion Incident (Daily Quests)
The second even in this Ragnarok X : Hyper Return – Holy Night Christmas event celebration is the “Game Invasion Incident“, offering a series of dynamic daily quests that keep rotating for the whole days. This event are divided into different phases, with each quest connect each other. The activity have their own schedule and time-limit, so even if the event shows “Ended“, it’s not like the event are DONE. But they are moving into the next schedule of the event and gives you time to prepare for it.
There is total 7 event that you can do every day, and 5 objective must be cleared daily if you want to get all the reward listed below.

Let’s breakdown the event so you can choose what event that suits you. Remember that you only need to complete five from any of this event below to get all the rewards :

 Surprise Delivery | You need to collect a Christmas gift from Gingerbread Reinder that is scattered across the Lutie map, then submit those to Gingerbread Deliveryman. You need to collect 40 Christmas gift to max out the rewards. Or 8 times back and forth. You can only do this event one time, so make sure to fulfill 8 round trip delivery to get the full rewards.  Event of Celebration (Not recommended to do this as the chance of dropping a Lost Firework is very low. Additionally, you will be competing with other players to collect these materials, which can be very hard and tedious. This is only recommended for classes like Ranger and Mechanics) | Eliminate Cookie Bandit and Myst Case Bandit from the Toy Factory and you’ll have a chance to get  Lost Firework.  Energy Armament | Obtain Energy Fragment x1/x3/x5 by gathering  Energy Crystals scattered at the Lutie map near the Church area (bottom left corner of the map). Submit these items to NPC Gingerbread Factory Manager.You need to obtain 18 Energy Fragments to max out the daily rewards. | 6 x Holly Leaf (A chance to get Warg Breath) |
 Warg Tracking (Not recommended due to the very low chance of obtaining Warg Breaths, making it the most time-consuming option) | The Warg Breath you have collected through the daily event can be submitted to NPC Evelyn at the Toy Factory.  Challenge Garm | This is an instance event wherein similar to the previous Blazing rune event but much easier. You just need to reach certain damage and minimum players death to get a ranking. You need to make 39.6 billion damage to Garm with atleast 1 death to get SSS rank. | 20 x Holly Leaf 3 x Sweet Winter Dream Box |
All the tasks are free-to-play friendly, but don’t think that you can easily finish the event within time limit if you are not prepared enough. For example, if you were playing Assassin Cross type Dagger, you will find yourself struggling because not only you are meele class, you will be troubled if there is Ranger / Mechanic / anything that can one-shot the mobs around you. The item drop also not that kind, sometimes you need to kill more to get 1 item drop, so keep that in mind that you maybe need to form a party to do any of those quest effectively.
So, i would suggest you to take the Challenge Garm quest, and any other quest that didn’t require you to kill monsters to be your priority list. Then if you already done with that, you can try to form a party to complete the rest of event that you needed. I would not recommend you to clear all the event for the extra mats, because its time consuming and pretty boring for me.
Tips for Challenge Garm
The Garm itself isn’t that hard, considering how long you already playing this game. But for new player, i suggest you to be careful not to get too much damage from Garm. Since all his skill have stacking debuff that will reduce your healing factor and give you bleeding. So why should i care about this? because the more death count your team have, will make you can’t receive much higher reward, so keep that in mind.
So in the end, all you need to do is get the better rating from this event. Set up your goal and check at your party before progressing the event. Once you already reach the rating that you and your party agreed for, you will need to stop dealing damage and focus on survival. Because higher rating require less death count.

You may attempt as many times as you wish, provided that the NPC is present in the Toy Factory during its designated hours.

Event 3: Pursuit Garm Baby (FREE Garm Pet)
The 3rd Holy Night Christmas event, Gotta catch-em all Garm Baby or “Pursuit Garm Baby“, are limited event that allow you to catch “Baby Garm” as a pet. This event are linked with all the rewards that you accumulate from the Winter-Sign In event. You can catch as many “Baby Garm” as you want as long you have enough material. Let’s get that S Quality “Baby Garm“!
You can also get Crystal Candy Ball by burning Odin, a 4,000 Odin burn allows you to get around 15 to 60 Crystal Candy Balls.
Not much to breakdown about this event, it just how the game introduce you to their special christmas limited pet release to the game. You will need to equip your slingshot, hit them three times, then catch them. You will need 6 Crystal Candy Balls to catch “Baby Garm” though. You can find herd of “Baby Garm” at the top map of the Toy Factory, they will spawn here endlessly so catch-em all,
Event 4: MVP Hunting
The 4th Holy Night Christmas event is adding Garm as the MVP to hunt. You can get event-limited gold card, mount and event material as well.
MVP Garm have specific area to spawn, which is inside the Toy Factory and have timer like regular MVP spawn.
Event 5: Odin Burn
The Christmas event also have 
Odin Burning event just like the previous event, you can get event materials like Holly Leaf, and few more materials to use at exchange shop.
There is a limit for the Holly Leaf that capped at 10 per day. But the rest of material like 
Starlight Lamp, 
Peace Fruit, 
Candy Cane and Crystal Candy Ball have no limit as long as you have the odin.

The limit for Holly Leaf is 10. Therefore, 2,000 Odin Blessing is enough to get the maximum amount. To provide a clearer understanding of how this works, let’s delve into the statistics based on 10,000 test cases:
- Average Loot: On average, players receive 15 Holly Leaf when they use their 2,000 Odin Blessings. (If we ignore the capped limit)
- Range of Loot: The number of Holly Leaf obtained from using Odin Blessings can vary significantly, ranging from 2 to 32. (If we ignore the capped limit)
- Probability Analysis: Out of 10,000 tests, only 695 (6.95%) users received fewer than 10 Holly Leaf.
Event 6: Christmas Furniture Box
This christmas event are linked to our newest update in the game, Home System. All the box below will give you special christmas-limited furniture for your house.
There is two type of box, crystal and IDR box. The crystal box will give you christmas-limited furniture at random chances, meanwhile the IDR box will give you ALL the christmas-limited furniture for your home. So if you want to make your home feels like ‘home’, you should consider to buy the IDR box because as long as i remember that furniture also gives you stat for your character.
